We're about to open a new dealership in Southland and are searching for exceptional Service Manager to join our team. You can be part of the beginning of something special, introducing a new level of service into the region.

Keith Andrews Trucks, NZ's largest Fuso dealership and a key supplier of Freightliner and Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicles, is looking for a Service Manager to lead our Invercargill team.

This is a pivotal role where you'll manage a high-performing service department, build strong customer relationships, and ensure safe, efficient, and profitable operations.

What you'll do:

  • Lead and manage the service team to deliver outstanding results and top-tier customer service.
  • Ensure efficient workflow, correct allocation of staff and resources, and high-quality workmanship.
  • Build strong relationships with key clients, providing technical support and training as needed.
  • Monitor and drive performance to meet financial and operational targets.
  • Champion health, safety, and environmental best practices.
  • Oversee team development, apprenticeships, and staff training programmes.
  • Stay up to date with product knowledge across Fuso, Freightliner, and Mercedes-Benz brands.

What we're looking for:

  • Proven leadership experience in a service or workshop environment (automotive or heavy transport preferred).
  • Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management abilities.
  • A customer-first mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.
  • A proactive, hands-on leader who can inspire and mentor a team.
